Player unknown’s battle ground Early Access Week 3 Patch Notes – Before we move onto what’s changed in this week’s two patches, I would like to briefly speak about the reports of cheating within our sport. Now that this is largely complete, we’re focused on optimizing performance, and increasing safety to guarantee everyone plays fair.
This isn’t an easy task, as handling cheaters is a constant struggle, but we’re confident that over the coming weeks and months we could implement new measures to make it more difficult to cheat in the game. This week alone we closed two significant holes that let current cheats access into the sport, and as we proceed further through Early Accessibility we’ll continue to track down and further protected the game from the ones that don’t need to play fair.
Like all games, talk of cheating is discouraged and will be removed from our public facing community forums, to not attempt to conceal it from gamers, but instead to make certain that those who cheat get no exposure to the general public, which is something many of them want! We hope you understand that point, and bear with us as we work to clean up the match.
Finally, in case you missed our announcement on Twitter, we’ve identified the reason for lag found on the servers recently and are working on getting it solved. This issue isn’t a simple fix, as it involves changes to the core engine code, and will take us some time to finish. We have no ETA on when this will be solved just yet, so we request your patience while we fix the problem.
Now onto what we have upgraded. These patch notes cover both upgrades pushed in this week.
